Cookie Policy
Last updated June 28, 2026
Short version: this site uses a few cookies to work properly and to see how it’s doing. Where the law requires it, the tracking ones only run after you say yes.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a site saves in your browser. Some are needed for the site to function, and some help me understand how people use it.
What this site uses
- Essential cookies that make the site and the newsletter signup form work.
- Analytics cookies so I can see basic traffic, like which pages people visit. These only run where you’ve allowed them.
- Cookies set by my newsletter provider, Beehiiv, when you use a signup form.
I don’t use cookies to sell your data or follow you around the internet for ads.
Your consent
The cookie banner on the site is run through CookieYes. You can accept or reject non-essential cookies, and you can change your mind any time: open Cookie Settings. That link reopens the consent panel wherever you are on the site.
Affiliate links
When you click an affiliate link, you leave my site for someone else’s, and they may set their own cookies. That’s covered by their policies, not mine. See my Disclosure.
