About Tim Naylor
Some Guy & AI is me, Tim Naylor. I can't write code. I build real things with AI anyway, and I show people how. That's the whole business.
I fought with building a website for a long time. Tried to do it on my own, failed, and gave up on it. That was that for a while.
Later I got curious about AI and took a couple of courses. They went over my head, I couldn't retain any of it, and I lost interest before I finished. I kept picking up what I could anyway.
Then I had an idea that actually mattered to me, and I gave AI a shot at it. I sat down and typed who I am, what I do, and what I wanted. We built a website. Then a whole lot more.
That's when I figured it out. It works. So I decided to build things with AI and teach people how, because that's what I wanted somebody to do for me.
I'm still in it. Things break on me and I go find the fix like everybody else. A few steps ahead on some of it, stuck on the rest.
The two of us
Some Guy is me. I bring the idea, the taste, and the stubbornness to keep going until it's right. I don't write the code and never have.
One more thing. I do more than film what breaks. Don't box me into one lane, because I'll be doing something else next month.
